20 Homemade Gifts for Kids (Babies, Toddlers and Tweens)

I am so excited to be part of the 2014 KBN Gift Guides for Kid series! This series features over 70 amazing gift guides and is the ONLY kids gift guide that you’ll need this year!

Our family seems to be growing every year, and each year it’s getting just a little harder to stretch the budget-because of this I’m always on the look out for gift ideas that are easy on the budget but that still let the recipient know just how much we care about them.

This year I’ll be buying and creating gifts for a range of ages from babies right through to tweens, I’ve gathered together some of my favourite gift ideas (it was so hard to pick just five per age group!) and have shared them below for you.

Just a quick note: You may find some of the gift ideas specific to one gender as these are ideas I’ve gathered to suit my family and their interests. The ages listed in the brackets are the ages of the children I’ll be creating presents for.

Please always supervise your infant/child at play.  Please stay within arms reach and never leave infants/children unattended.  You know you're infant/child best, use your own judgement-considering your infant/child's temperament, habits, behaviour and development before you play with a new play medium.
